My Experience: Had it just under 3yr, originally some sound distrotion. 2 days ago while set playing loud pop, huge spark from the back and the smell of burnt plastic/wires, now DEAD. Originally very pleased w/ purchase, certainly expected a $700.00 TV to last longer. Son bought same one for college 8mo ago, we'll see...but no more VIZIO at this house will discourage all others as well.
