My Experience: I bought this TV in December 2006 from BJs wholesale club. I went from a rear projection tv to this - the first impression was WOW! The picture clarity was incredible.
BUT, After three years of running with no problems, the picture started going green. I would have to flip from HD to regular channels and back to get the picture back.
About a month ago, the entire picture went out - black screen. The green power led remained on. After a little internet research, I found out Philips has a severe problem with power supplies.
I swapped out two 3300uF caps on the power supply board and it did not fix it. I am still troubleshooting this tv and as soon as I figure out what is wrong, I will post again.
