My Experience: Since I have received the 51" Vivitek HDTV, I have had a lot of problems with the picture quality and much more trouble with the sound quality. The volume jumps up and down constantly leading me to the conclusion that there is a problem inside the Vivitek TV console. Also, my cable TV remote does not recognize this TV so I have to walk over to the TV to make the volume go up or down as the cable box has made the remote that came with this TV unusable. The picture is just average and not the spectacular picture promised by the seller or manufacturer of this HDTV. I am very disappointed and I intend to send this TV back to the seller. I spent $2,100 for a product that does not deliver.

Problems: I have not attempted to contact the Vivitek company yet, but I am going to this week just in case they can rectify the problems somehow. If not, it goes back where it came from. About the box that houses the TV, there are ripplies in the finish that should not be there. I wish I could have given a great review of this product--but, sadly, it turns out that I can't. For the money I put out, this TV should do what it promises to do.
