My Experience: i ordered this xmas 2005 suppose to be delivered before xmas.never came til middle of jan and i spent hours trying to find out where it was.shopnbc told me i was lying i wrote down every time i called and who i spoke with.when it came it hummed very loud that i could not enjoy it exactly 7 days after i hired a tv person to install it,it did not come on at all.the so called free dvd surround sound never worked.i did not get my 200.00 rebate cause i was trying to get rid of it and i was afraid if i filed for rebate if i returned it fraud but i could not return shopnbc said cause it been 30 days since i purchased it,i only had it for 1 week though.so they did send me another i got middle of feb 2006 july it started making loud humming sound like the first one.i could not get vivitek on phone,shopnbc stated that they could not help me finally i got some one nov 14 2006 suppose to send a part (by nov it was making firecracker sounds)i called over and over between vivitek,shopnbc and the shipping company.dec 27 2006 i had to rush payment to shopnbc by dec 31 2006 to avoid finaince charges when i came home from work dec 28 2006 tv would not turn on i rushed to bank to stop my money order.i still do not know the out come but i have this huge dust collector.shopnbc told me dec 15 2006 that they would call vivitek and get back to me the next week.i guess i will be hearing from them now if my hold on money order was successful.oh iforgot to add the expense of tv stand,this has been a night mare.
