My Experience: I too bought this from Shop NBC and it's been just sitting most of the time as I can't find anyone to work on it. I've replaced the lamp twice and now my color is all messed up. Reading these comments I'm guessing it's the color wheel. Great picture when it's working. Total rip off for the money though. Out of the 4 years i've had it i've probably watched 6 months.

Problems: Lamp has burned out twice. Expensive to replace and you have to do everything yourself. Now my color is greenish purple and the tv shuts off. For $2500 I would expect to watch it for more than 6 months and I would expect Vivitek and Shop NBC to make it right.
